Blue Horizon is a purebred Irish Draught colt, one of Blue Henry's last and finest sons. He is very correct with lots of bone and great limbs. His dam Clannad Bess has bred champions, and is the dam of Clannad Maestro, our other foundation stallion Blue Gray Perhaps, Multichampion Show Cob Polaris, his half brother Vega, grand-dam of our multi-talented champion Show Horse Madam Butterfly and many others. Blue Horizon is eligible for RID grading and will shortly be DNA tested and registered with the Irish Draught Society.

We have decided to retain this superb colt as we think looking at his height and bone he is very likely to be a very smart heavyweight cob. That being so, he is half brother to both Polaris and Madam Butterfly combined and what a combination that will make! ...
